Overview

Living.Proof. is a 5 piece rock band from Oneonta, New York. They were signed to SUNY
Oneontas Red Dragon Records in October of 2014 and are currently recording their first full-
length album. This marketing plan is a layout of the bands/ labels goals for the next 8 months.
Phase II will be enacted when the outcomes of Phase I become more apparent.

Phase I
Goals:

Sell 300 copies the first week of the release


Get album to be played on a multitude of regional radio stations including but not

Distribution: Red Dragon Records will begin taking orders from physical retailers on April 14,
2015 in order to prepare for the album release date. Each retailer will be limited to 50 copies,
INCLUDING one (1) free album for the purpose of in-store promotion. The album, Two Sides
of Encouragement, will be available digitally online for $5.00 (U.S) at all online retailers OR
physically for $10.00 (CD), $15.00 (Vinyl).

CD Baby: Partner with the online distribution company to reach a different demographic
of audience. Will be available for the standard digital price of $5.00 and physical price of
$10.00.

YouTube: Promotional lyric video for the single, Solstice, to be released on April 28
2015 through bands YouTube account.
o Music Video for the second single, Glass Bones Paper Skin, to be released on
May 18th.
o Multiple tags will be uploaded with the videos to promote more click revenue.
Lyric video to be produced by Mario Frascone.
o Music video to be recorded and produced by Nate Wind Media with help from
the Oneonta film club. Then edited by Laura Burbank.
ITunes: Pre-orders will be available on ITunes. Sale of digital downloads will appear on
street date. Sale of individual songs will remain at the standard ITunes price of $0.99
however purchase of the whole album will be the promised digital price of $5.00.
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram: Promotion of live shows, pre-orders, album sales and
merchandise.

Merchandise promotion and website:

- All merchandise will be sold through, www.livingproofny.com. Links will be provided


on all social media.
- Merchandise will include T-Shirts, crew necks, sweatshirts, gym shorts, bracelets, snap-
back hats, banners and posters. (All clothing will come in men and ladies sizes)
- Two large size T-Shirts will be sent to radio stations as free goods along with a copy of
the album for the use of playing it on the air.

Kickoff show will be covered by local Albany news stations YNN, CBS 6 and ABC 10.
At every tour stop, Living.Proof. will do an interview with local radio stations to
promote, The Two Sides of Encouragement.

Tour Dates: Since Living.Proof. is a relatively new band to the scene, they have only
been on one small tour before in which they were accompanied by former Red Dragon
Records Artist, Bray. Their first East Coast tour will kick off on May 29, 2015 as direct
support for the bands LetLive and Such Gold. The kick off show will be covered by local
news stations.
