I, Miss.Nidhi J. Somani, am a third year Undergraduate Civil Engineering student at

Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune, India. Sir, I am interested to do some work in
the field of Construction Management as I would like to take it up as my area of
specialization and your guidance will be of much help.

I went through your web-page and I saw the number of National and International
conferences you have attended and presented your work and also the number of Journals
you have written. Additionally, I studied your paper on Application of Multi-Criteria
Decision Making Techniques for Bridge Construction The Global Journal of
Flexible Systems Management and found it very knowledgeable. Sir, I would be really
glad if I get a chance to work under you and thus I am wondering if you have any
position open for me to undertake a research project for 4 to 8 weeks during the span of
June 2015 to July 2015.

I am undertaking a departmental course on Project Management and Engineering

Economics which is related to all your research and my interest. I have also gained
training in Microsoft Project(MSP) and Primavera, the much required Mangement
Softwares.

I am hoping to get some practical experience . I shall be very grateful if you give me the
opportunity to do a summer research project under your guidance. In addition this would
provide a great opportunity for me to explore your department for my further studies.
