Rationale/Justification
This activity allows students to research information on a specific topic and create
quiz questions over that material. The students will be talking all about Texas and
its state bird, song, animal, tree, fruit, etc. The students will get to create a paper
bag book with facts about Texas throughout it along with trivia questions. The
students will become masters of the information.
This activity allows students to focus on key concepts in math and create creative,
interactive, and fun activities to help students master the concept. The students will
be given 5 different activity bags with all materials included in them. The students
will also be provided with instructions to the activity or game within the bag.
These activities will all be age appropriate and assigned to a specific grade level.

This activity allows students to take a closer look at the moon and all of its phases.
This activity requires students to be investigators and describe the moon and its
phases for 28 days in many different adjectives. The students will document
information about each moon phase, the day they observed it, the time, and the
percentage of illumination. This activity allows students to stray away from books
and do a hands-on activity to learn this material.

This interactive field trip allows students to interact with nature, investigate parts of
nature and learn information in many different subjects through 1 activity. The use
of integrated lessons helps students interact more and enjoy the lesson more.
Through this field trip the students will be grouped up with peers, rotate to different
stations, and get to look and experience nature in a completely different way. They
will also get to keep a few of the items they talk about, as well as create some of
their own.
This activity allows students to have the choice to choose a president, research him,
and create a cereal box with information, a game, facts, and a creative title. This
activity allows students to use their critical thinking skills as well as creativity.
They will be given a rubric of what information must be included in this activity to
get full points, but it is fully up to them how they decide to decorate and crate their
box.
