The students answered the W,W,W,W,W questions on each page based on the pictures. Pre-reading strategies.
Each of the students were focused and involved in the lesson.
Good use of sequencing activities.
You asked the students to describe vocabulary, habitat and explain it.
You asked leading questions of the students when they answered. You asked the students to refer to the text and showed it on the screen.

Couger cash is a positive re-enforcer that the students seemed to buy into.
Consistent, calm, even, re-direction of Maki Pay attention please
Good re-direction of Henry the turtle.
Suggestion
Maki seemed to loose focus during the writing of the third event. He may need some tactile resources to keep him on task. Maybe add another
stuffed animal Sara. You could act out some of the events before writing them on the screen.
