It is very important to carefully examine every flange
to verify that each conforms to the purchase order specifications. It is equally important to check for damage to
the face and beveled end, and inspect the flanges for
corrosion. Report any damage or other discrepancies to
your supervisor or prepare an over, short, and damage
report (OS&D).
