3rd Grade Art Project
Introduction:
Students will explore different works of art from a variety of artists through research done online. Students will then create their
own interpretation of the piece that they choose, document their work using a camera and submit their work into their portfolio
online to then pull up and share with the class.

Learning Objective:
Students will expand their knowledge of different works of art as well as work with technology.

Locating information online, then applying the information to their learning. Having the ePortfolio of the students work to
support learning and also use as a growth tool.
Teaching with Technology
Researching topic related to the assignment through the use of computers or Ipads then presenting their information by
creating a website.

Reflection: After conducting this assignment and using an ePortfolio myself, I feel that they are very useful in education.
EPortfolios can be used for many different things and today are often times a graduation requirement. A portfolio is a collection of
a students work that provides educators with the students progress, efforts, and achievements. I think that this concept is so
great because it is constantly being documented and in all subject areas. As a result, students progress or areas that need to be
worked on are easily accessible. I think it is great for students to be able to see their work in this setting, it gives them confidence
to be able to see their hard work paying off.
