Multilingual final year student at the University of Portsmouth, looking for experience in translation.
Available on the weekends and some weekdays. As part of my degree course, in my third year, I took part in
the Erasmus program by studying at the Universidad de Mlaga, Facultad de Filosofa y Letras, Spain and at
the Universit di Bologna, Campus di Forl Scuola di Lingue e Letterature, Traduzione e Interpretazione,
Italy. In both Spain and Italy I took classes and exams spoken in the native language. The year abroad was a
key essential in the development and fluency of the languages studied as well as understanding and
participating in the everyday culture of the country.

Organisation, time management and a team effort was essential for handling the stocks of clothes and
accessories. Involved distinguishing between the good and bad garments to establish what would be
adequate to be sold.
Worthing Youth Council, Volunteer
(2006 - 2011)
Provided a voice for the youth of the town in order to improve their situation through activities,
events, petitions and questionnaires.
Acted as part of a team by participating in meetings, taking notes and contributing to ideas.
At 18 became a senior leader. Mentored new members and provided them with all the necessary
information.
Planned, promoted and helped other charity organisations in the local area.
Example: The Youth Council were part of the project of bringing a temporary ice rink each
year. This was done through handing out surveys to students in schools about what activity
they wanted seen in Worthing.

INTERESTS AND ACTIVITES

Very enthusiastic and strong interest in dancing, take part as the Social Secretary in the Cuban Salsa
Society, and previously was the Publicity Officer of the Classical Ballet Society as well as a member
of the Street Dance Society at the University of Portsmouth.

For 6 years, I was part of a traditional folkloric Bolivian dance group called Caporales San Simon
UK. Travelled around the UK and abroad, participating in carnivals that can last up to 4 hours such
as the Mayors Thames Carnival in London. Requires a high level of dedication and commitment to
attend all training rehearsals.

Previously part of the Heene Dance Association in Acrobatics and the Worthing Swimming Club for
several years, taking part by attending classes every week and preparing for exams and competitions.
