1. In 40 words or more describe your project and the steps you performed to complete it.
What did you produce or perform?
I put together a video game tournament for my project. First I needed a venue. I found That Video
Game Store which worked great because they already had a set up and were used to hosting tournaments,
so it worked out really well.
2. In at least 40 words explain how the project challenged you, and what sort of time
challenges and resource problems did you encounter?
It challenged me to reach out and communicate with people at businesses and convince them to help with
my project. This interaction was pretty new to people because calling people, I feel, is being antiquated by
online websites, and either emailing, or filling out a form online eliminated the human interaction part.
3. List and then describe 5-8 fundamental ideas/concepts/skills of your project, which you
learned during your project.
Managing expectations. Persistency v Being bothersome. Adaptability. Scheduling. Time management
4.
List and describe 5-8 problems you encountered in your project, and
briefly describe how you solved each.
Didnt have a venue- Found a venue
Needed prizes for event- Venue agreed to give prizes
Didn't know what game to have at the event- polled/surveyed peers

1.
List all people who helped you on the project and briefly describe the
help given: Erika Heyder; reviewed research and documents every step of the process, met
with me multiple times to prepare for final presentation, attended final presentation
1.
How does your completed project compare to the picture you had in mind
when you started the project?
More people that I didnt think would come did.
2.
If given the opportunity, what would you do differently now that you speak
from experience?
Secure the venue earlier so I would have had more time to advertise the event and have more people
come. Also the powerpoint I had prepared with information did not play.
3.
Now that the project is completed, explain/describe the stretch or challenge
you encountered/experienced.
The venue owner was sometimes unresponsive and hard to plan, and on some occasions I may
have not had enough time to plan some things.
4.
Beyond the project itself, what did you learn about yourself?
I would not say that I did a lot of soul searching or introspection, so I didnt learn a lot about me. I know
the same about me as I did before I started.
5.
What grade would you give yourself on the project? Justify the
evaluation of your grade in at least 25 words. I would give myself an A on this project as I
believe I worked very hard on the research, paper and presentation. I was eager to learn as much
as possible about net neutrality and inform fellow students about it in a way that they would have
fun learning about it. I had to secure a venue, prizes, etc. and I believe everyone who came to the
final project left knowing a little more about net neutrality.
Special things you would like the judges to consider and look for: The complex nature of the topic,
my thorough research, the time it took to get a venue and spread the word about the presentation
