Activity
(list songs used during lesson)
Students will be able to interact with one
another through inside play. We should
encourage social interaction and activity.
We will sing the clean-up song as we get
ready for a lesson.
Put on listening ears. Read the book
Farmer Joe and the Music Show to the
kids. Questions from the story: What
sound does each animal make? What
animals did you see?
The students are going to match the
mommy animals to the baby animals by
coming up front and taping the baby
animal with the mom. As each student
comes up, I will also have them count
the number of animals that are on the
board so far.
The students are going to be making
paper bag cows. They will be gluing the
face and hooves of the cow onto the bag,
but they will also be using one finger and
black paint to make spots on the cow.
Talk about how washing hands is
important so we dont get sick.
Talk with the students about how some
of our food comes from farms.
Students and teachers will sing some
new songs about being on the farm.
