The HolyQuran is the longest existing book in the world in addition, the
Quran is the only book that has not changed and will not change in the
future because it is protected by God. Quran is the book that was revealed to
Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him, before more than 1400 years. God
has sent too many prophets to people in different times and places to show
them the right way to worship God. For example, the Bible is a book that was
revealed to Jesus, peace be upon him. He is the prophet, whom God sent
before prophet Muhammed, and Moses, peace be upon him, who came
before Jesus and Mohammed, and Torah is the book that was revealed to
Moses. All of these books nowadays are distorted except the Quran because
God is taking the responsibility of keeping the Quran, and no one can change
any letter in the Quran. For example, if you go to China and buy Quran from
there and then go to the United States of America and buy one, both copies
will be identical. Quran for Muslims is the guide for their lives. For instance,
the ethics and morals that Muslims should have are inspired from the Quran.
Such as not cheating, not lying and so forth. Muslims have to read Quran in
each prayer and Muslims pray at least five times every day, so it is very
important and essential for them. When I was a child, my family taught me
how to read Quran and how to write it, and this was before I went to school.

My mother used to teach me the Arabic letters and the pronunciation of

them until I started writing and reading slowly. After that I started reading
Quran and memorizing it when I was between five and six years old until I
memorized more than 50 pages. There are many Muslims in my country and
around the world who memorize the whole Quran by heart, and they are
between six and 80 years old. God in the judgement day will reword the
people who memorize the Quran with Precious things. For example, God will
let them enter the paradise and also God will raise their status in the
paradise. However, when I learned how to write and read the quern, I started
going to the Mosque a place where Muslims go and pray like the Church in
Christianity, and I started to learn more about Quran. Then I started reading
about the explanation of the Quran. It really helped me to grow up in the way
that God wants us to be. I really appreciate what my parents did to me by
teaching me how to read and write starting by our religion and then school.
At the beginning of my education, I loved reading so much because I was
reading the Quran and knowing many stories and concepts from the past
generations. It was so interesting for me, but when I started the academic
education, I hated reading because I was forced to read about things that I
did not like. For example, one time in school, I was forced to read almost 50
pages in Geographic, and I hated that so much and I hated reading anything
else. On the other hand, when I was reading and memorizing the Quran, I
was enjoying it so much. Although, reading and memorizing the exact words
is more difficult than just reading without memorizing.

When I was about 10 years old, I started writing dairy about the major
things that happen every day. It was really fun because I used to write all my
secrets in the notebook that I have for my everyday writing, and I did not use
to show it to anyone even my closest friends; Whereas, in school we did not
use to write essays or long paragraph.
I remember that I used to see my father reading a lot, and I used to sit and
ask him about the subject of the reading or the book that he is reading, and
one time, I saw him reading a book that has a colorful interesting cover and I
asked him "What is the title of this book? It looks amazing" and he answered
me by saying that title of the book is how to love your manager. He was
explaining many interesting points that the book talks about. For instance,
the book says that every person has to love his manager even if the
manager is rude or nobody likes him. However, it affected me very much and
I started to love reading from the stories that my father used to tell. Also, my
mom used to tell me stories from the Quran before I used to sleep and it was
really interesting for me because the stories are real from the previous
generations. God mentioned many stories that happened in the past and
many stories that will happen in the future. For example, God talked about
Christians and Jews in many different places in the Quran. One of them is
when God talked to Christians by saying "O People of the Scripture, do not
commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The
Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word
which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So

believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is
better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a
son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the
earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs." (An-Nisa 171). This is one
of many conversations between God and different people. These stories and
conversations from Quran inspired me a lot to read more and more. When I
became 13 years old, I started going to the library and buy books about
many subjects that I like such as The Guinness Book of Records. I enjoyed
reading many different editions of the book. Reading has led me into a
different world. It changes the way I think in everything and when I read, I
get to know the world that I'm living in much better and understand different
prospective and cultures.
