Recently, Ihad the opportunity to supervise Jim’s on-site Graduate Internship at the Elizabeth W. Murphey School, in Dover, Delaware. ‘The Murphey School is a residential group care foster home for both male and female youth between the ages of 8 and 18 years who have issues of dependency and /or neglect, During his internship, Jim was assigned a variety of projects with various timetables for completion. No matter what project was given to him, I always found Jim to be positive and enthusiastic as he worked to carry out its completion. Additionally, the Murphey Schoo! has 30 residents and approximately 45 employees. On any given day, what started out as the plan may need to change. Jim’s ability to adjust and support others, working as a member of a team, assisted with smooth transitions and minimum distuptions for the residents we serve.
