Adrenal glands- they have triangle glands, they are above of the kidneys.

They have
two layers. The outer cortex, and inner adrenal medulla. The adrenal cortex has 3
classes of hormones: glucocorticoids, mineralocorticoids, and androgens. The
adrenal medulla produces epinephrine and norepinephrine hormones.

Pancreas- is located above the stomach. It is considered to be a heterocrine gland

have both endocrine and exocrine tissue. Glucagon triggers liver cells to breakdown
the polysaccharide glycon to release glucose to the bloodstream. The beta cells
produce the hormone insulin, which is responsible for lowering blood glucose after a
meal.

Hypothamalus- is it part of the brain. Its anterior of the brain stem. It has
special cells called neurosecretory cells: Thyrotropin-releasing hormone
(TRH), Growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), Growth hormoneinhibiting hormone (GHIH), Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH),
Corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH), Oxytocin, and Antidiuretic hormone
(ADH)as the

Pituitary gland- also known as the bhypophysis, is the size of a pea made of tissue
connected to the inferior portion of the hypothamalus of the brain. The blood vessel
carry the hormones it releases troughout the body. It also made of two posterior and
antererior pituitary glands.

Thryroid gland- is shaped like a butterfly located at the base of the neck and
wrapped around the lateral sides of the trachea. It has three hormones: calcitonin,
triiodotheyronine (T3), theyroxine (T4).

Parathryroid glands- is made up four small masses of glandular tissue found in the
posterior side of the thryroid gland. They produce the hormone parathyroid
hormone (PTH), which is involved in calcium ion homeostasis. PTH also triggers the
kidneys to return calcium ions filtered out of the blood to the bloodstream so that it
is conserved.

Thymus- is a soft, triangular shaped organ found in the chest posterior to the
sternum. It produces hormones called thymosins that develop during fetal
development and childhood. It protects the body from [pathogens until it becomes
inactive during puberty and is slowly replaced by adipose tissue through a persons
life.

Gonads- they
are ovaries I females and
testesin males, responsible for reproducing sex hormones. Testes produce the
androgen testorone in males after the start of puberty. It controls the growth and
development of the sex organs and body hair, including pubic, chest and facial hair.
Ovaries are shaped like almonds located in the pelvic body cavity. They female sex
hormones. The release of strogen during puberty which develops, uterine, breast,
and growth of hair pubic.
