1. Read over your summaries for all topics use HSC online
and Bored if needed.
2. Read over verb list to familiarise yourself with answering
extended responses.
3. Do some past papers to practice exam technique and
question styles. (Board of Studies website ARC)
4. Put new batteries into your calculator and remember
significant figures.
Exam format 3 hours
Section 1 (3 core topics)
20 multiple choice 1 mark each
10 written answers total 55 marks
Section 2 - 1 question on option (Forensics) 25 marks
Concentrate on these things
Properties of alkanes and alkenes
Fermentation
Galvanic cells
Titration
Formation of esters
Le Chateliers principle
Ionic equations
CFCs
All parts of forensic done so far (Topic areas 1 and 2)
