FAQ: How to improve Address Validation performance in Data Quality 9.0.1?

In Data Quality 9.0.1, to achieve maximum performance gain, do the following:
1. Do a Full Preload of the address validation directories: In the Admin Console, enter the three-character ISO country codes in a comma-separated list,
suchas,DEU,FRA,USA.EnterALLtoloadalldatasets.

2. Turn off DPV option: AVcanbepartitionedwithDPVon(DeliveryPointselectionintheAVproperties).However,itwillbeslower.

3. Performance depends on CPU and hardware configuration. Increase the number of partitions until you see performance degradation.Onatestmachine
(linux 64, 4 x Quad Core AMD Opteron 8356 Processor (1200Mhz), 64 GB RAM), performance degradation was observed after adding a 9th execution
instance. The optimum number of execution instances will depend on CPU and hardware configuration.
