Preparation:
Time
Have students volunteer and stand up and demonstrate the 2 minutes
following locomotor actions: walk, hop, skip, gallop, march,
jog. (Write options on board). K only.
Have students listen to song verse Were ____ through
The valley, the valley, the valley.and move as the
Locomotor activity is sung.

Sequence:
Have students return to their polyspots.
Introduce the first part, and count out on fingers the number of times
You sing Zudie-o in a row (3 times). Have students answer how many
Times you sing it in a row, echo sing the two lines of the verse. Discuss
What the it person will do.

The movements go as follows.


Lets go Zudie-o zudie-o zudie-o, lets go Zudie-o all night long.
(Student A starts their chosen action and walk down the middle)
Have students watch you do The first verse as they sing, and then ask what 3 min
Movement you did, so have them put that into the second verse.)

Have students turn and select one style of movement form the board.
