This fee may either be mailed or turned into Mr. Bruner on the first night of class, or Mr. Tylutki in his classroom.
*There are no materials fees. The instructor will supply all materials.
*The driving record of each individual instructor is available for review upon request.

*Notice: This provider is required to be certified by the Secretary of State. If you have any complaint, which
you cannot settle with this school, write: Michigan Department of State, Driver Programs Division, Lansing,
MI 48919. Completion of driver education instruction does not guarantee qualification for a driver license.

Requirements to pass the course and receive certificate/driving permit:

Behind the Wheel Driver Education LLC will provide a minimum of 24 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours of
behind-the-wheel (BTW) instruction, and 4 hours of observation time. Classroom instruction must be a minimum
of 3 weeks in length. BTW instruction shall not begin until the student has received a minimum of 4 hours of
classroom instruction. BTW instruction must be completed no later than 3 weeks after the classroom instruction
has been completed.
For Segment 1 there will be 12 scheduled days of class. The students must attend each of the scheduled days.
Time missed for any reason, will have to be made up within 1-2 weeks after the session was originally to be
finished. The cost of each make-up session will be an additional $25.00.
All homework assignments must be completed and handed in.
All assignments and tests must be passed with 70% accuracy or better.
The final evaluation, the Secretary of States Knowledge Test, must be passed with 70% accuracy or better.
If you need to cancel a scheduled drive time, you must call Mr. Tylutki or Mr. Bruner in advance @ 517-740-0862
or 517-206-3349. If you fail to call and cancel, you will be charged $25.00 for a missed drive time.
*Behind the Wheel Driver Education will conduct the behind-the-wheel instruction in a dual
controlled automobile, fully insured, covering each student enrolled in the program.
Refund Policy: If a student cannot complete the course due to illness, family situation, etc., upon written
notification to the instructor, the student may be reimbursed for the amount of class time and driving time not
attended at $10.00 per hour.
