1. Continuously read RPNAOs Best Practice Guidelines and CNO
Standards to keep my knowledge and skills up to date.
2. Listen and learn from other nurses when they provide client education.
3. Read patient charts for an understanding of their history before
beginning care with a new patient.
4. Utilize my Nursing Foundations, Medical-Surgical, and Pharmacology
textbooks.
Evaluation criteria:
Will be able to provide excellent, on-the-spot client education without
the help of another nurse.
