ABOUT FAMICOS FOUNDATION

Famicos Foundation provides numerous services to improve the
quality of life in greater Cleveland including neighborhood

STEP ONE
Create a consistent message.
One of the main issues that we were made aware of, is that many of
the different branches of the organization are sending out
different flyers in multiple formats that send the community
multiple different messages.

SOLUTION: FIVE BASIC FLYER TEMPLATES

1. Housing
2. Green works Projects
3. Kids Events
4. Community Events
5. Legal Work
These templates all have a similar design. Each one has the Famicos logo on the top of
the page to insure that the reader knows who is responsible for the flyer.
Each flyer is assigned a color. This will help the reader to identify what type of event
Famicos is hosting. Assigning a designed color for each category will help to minimize
confusion.

STEP TWO
Create a more descriptive boiler plate. Since the boiler plate
talks mainly about housing opportunities for low income
families, the team thought it might be helpful to include
information regarding the other programs as well. This will help
the community get a better understanding of what Famicos
does, and why they should get involved with the organization.

BOILER PLATE REVISION

Famicos Foundation is a Glenville, Ohio based non-profit company
that provides permanent supportive housing and a variety of
neighborhood services to chronically homeless individuals and
moderate to middle-income families. Since its induction as a
volunteer service over 40 years ago, Famicos Foundation has
consistently provided neighborhood revitalization, affordable housing
and integrated social services in greater Cleveland. For more

SURVEY
This team believes that a local survey will be incredibly
beneficial for Famicos. Since Famicos provides such a wide
variety of services. It is important to know exactly who knows
about these services and what they know about them. The
survey we created is designed to determine the most effective
channel of communication between Famicos and the Glenville
Community.
It will also determine which programs are being used most
frequently by Glenville community members.

Importance: If Famicos is able to determine who is best

receiving imformation about the organization, how they are

getting it and what they are receiving, Famicos will have a
better understanding of what they need to focus on in
regards to their communication with the Glenville
community.
