It is with great pride and pleasure that I present this letter of reference for Ms. Amanda Cummings. Although she is an undergrad student, she has functioned as a Masters Level Social Work Intern student (under my supervision) who has carries herself in a professional manner at all times. She appears to be a highly motivated and invested student/learner. She utilizes her time wisely; works well under pressure and remains mindful of significant timelines. Also, she is very goal oriented, as well as a team player; she is supportive of her colleagues. She has attended workshops and trainings (as an intern student) that have added greatly to her professional growth and development. She demonstrates a depth and breadth of knowledge and skill in working with a diverse population of staff and students. She has worked predominately with students (and their parents) who receive special education services (i.e. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Emotionally Impaired (EI), Cognitively Impaired (CI), Learning Disabled (LD) and Other Health Impaired (OHI) and she is doing a exceptional job. In closing, I would like to say that Ms. Amanda Cummings is going to be an asset in the field of social work and I highly recommend her for the Social Work Graduate program.
