What were your cooperating teacher's strengths?

Ms.Simpson is an expert teacher. She is noted at Monrovia for being an excellent role model and leader. She demonstrates a strong dedication to her students and
profession. This is evident when one enters her classroom. She has gone to great lengths to create a stimulating learning environment and has developed systems
that help the classroom function smoothly. Among her numerous strengths are her knowledge of content, respect for students, extreme dedication, professionalism,
and her ability to plan. She has created a classroom community of learners who are constantly being taught to respect one another. Discipline issues are minimal as
Ms.Simpson consistently engages students in meaningful learning activities. Her peers respect her and she is continually developing as a professional. She is
currently continuing her education and practicing the habits of a life long learner.

How could your cooperating teacher improve?

It is difficult for me to determine how my mentor might improve. Over her many years of teaching, she has demonstrated her commitment by considering all aspects of
her profession. She spends a considerable amount of personal time planning and improving her own systems. I honestly can't think of anything that she has not
already considered and addressed herself!

Would you recommend your cooperating teacher to future teacher interns?

Yes

No

Additional Comments:
I am very thankful to have been placed in Ms. Simpson's classroom. She was kind, patient, and supportive, throughout the duration of my internship. It was fortunate
that I was able to observe her during instruction. I have learned much about presentation of topics, behavioral management, classroom systems, and professional
demeanor. Due to the fact that her standards are high, I was inspired to do my very best so as not to disappoint her. There were times I stumbled, but she remained
patient and offered me the opportunity to continue and grow. I highly recommend Ms. Simpson as a teacher candidate mentor. She posseses all of the qualities that
one aspires to in becoming an expert teacher.
