The importance of race, class and gender has a significant meaning to our cultural. A
meaning which society would inform us where we would belong and how would we play our
role in the system in the united states according to our race, class, and gender. Society has
formed a definition of what each of term and what it does like stereotypes because the
community is putting a label on society before they get the chance to even view how different a
race or class just because of the stereotype. Our identity can fundamentally shape our life
experience, how were treated, whom we meet and become friends with, what kind of education
and jobs we get, where we live, what opportunities were afforded, and what kind of inequities
we may face. Our identities are not socially constructed their built from the actions and the
community help mold us into to the person we are now. The fact, our gender, race and ethnicity,
and class plays a significant role in determining whether we have social, political and economic
power in this world is mind blowing because everyone tries to put each other down so one can
have dominates over the other. The power is what everyone one wants in the world but the race,
class, gender help separate and store order in the system weather people know it or not.
