PART 1 The Beginning

Teaser Janet (dream 1 shes running in the jungle), we see and hear vague sound, slowly dissolve to PA
announcement at Kuching Airport we see pretty women, dress casual,(we dont know if she is coming or going),
later at the restaurant she eating a bowl of Sarawak Laksa with 3 layer tea, monologue
Montage - Opaque rainforest jungle, somewhere within these landscape the same girl armed with camera taking
pictures of the scenery and its inhabitant. She been camping for days now, at night she writing notes by the
campfire and upload photos into her pad. Monologue as she conclude her experiences that day.
Next day, she up on the tree taking photo, accident, her safety vest broke and she fell, hanging on the tree, she try
to release herself but to no avail, her knife fell. Shortly after in a distance she hear people chattering, local hunters
found and save her. One of the hunter introduce himself as Leo. The offer further assistance but she decline and
prefer to be independence. Thus they leave her and continuing their journey.
Janet packed, and on her way back she saw a bird, loose her attention and got slip off the cliff, she clinging for her
life, same group hunter heard her plea for help. Leo save her again for the second time. Leo offer her to go to the
long house. Reluctantly she agrees as she plan to visit long house anyway to cover Gawai celebration.
Overview of the trip back, Leo also ask Janet what she doing in middle of jungle alone, praised her for being
brave. Moment later panorama of the longhouse & surrounding area, its community doing various activities.
Leo offer her help but again Janet decline, insist shell be fine alone. She ask who in charge for accomodation and
Leo introduce her to the Long House Penyambut Tetamu. She is given a quick tour and shown her bilek.
She is asked to join the rest for the welcoming induction
Her phone rings her mum calls to check if shes ok
She meets Tuai rumah for first time
Leo and Evelyn dances welcome dance
Evelyn introduces herself to Janet she will be taking her around the next day
Janet wakes up to meet with Evelyn she waits outside her bilek as instructed
Janet sees Evelyn come out of Leos bilek (thus she thought they are a couple)
