animated Lowes commercial.
Worked on setting up animation and rendering scene files for scenes I was

Created lighting and render passes in 3d Studio Max / Vray to create photo real
renders for Grimm and Lowes.
Worked alongside a team of compositors to output selective render passes that

suited their compositing needs in Nuke.


Tracked CG characters in 3d Studio Max to match the movement of the live
actors from the show.
Helped with animating CG characters for tracking purposes when an animator
was not available.
For the Lowes commercial I modeled and textured a high poly paint brush and
sub-d modeled the backing for a dryer.

Studios Van Nuys, CA

Learned 3-D techniques both in 3d Studio Max / Vray and After Effects for
movies and commercials.
Super Motocross - Created a Super Motocross bike in 3d Studio Max for a
possible show in 3-D. My responsibilities included modeling of the bike,
setting up Uvs, applying materials, rigging, animation and creating smoke
particles. I also helped train another intern on how to create Uved texture maps
for the bike.
Foster the People : Don't Stop - Composited shots in After Effects on a music
video for Foster the People. I was responsible for changing skin color, wire
removal, rotoscoping and Photoshop work on several shots.
BAMMA USA Fight Night Created graphics and animations for bumpers,
intros, outros and fight cards. For each fight card I helped edit video, screen
placement, scaling, lighting and fighter information.
Roads to Paradise Created cloud animations for an outro title composition. I
also was responsible for using different hi-res maps to create a map zoom
animation with depth maps to give it that 3-D touch.

3d Environment Artist / Terrain Artist (Freelance / Telecommute)

Working with my coworkers, I have helped with creating the look of the
buildings, furniture, weapons and other environment assets for Dawntide.
Using the design documents, concept art, books and the internet to research the
time period. I was able to give more authenticity to the game.
3d Studio Max 9 was used to sculpt and paint terrain, build architecture and
environmental assets to populate the game environment in Dawntide.
Working in the Gamebryo Editor and Asset Viewer, I was able to fix texture
masks for terrain tiles, place environment assets and checked for any bugs.
Software and Hardware: 3d Studio Max 9, Adobe Photoshop CS, Gamebryo,
Shadermap Pro, Xnormal and 3d Coat.
