Introduction
Good basic Kriging / ID modeling package

ID models
OK, IK, MIK
flexible rock types, search
excellent trace capabilities
Cross validation / Jack Knifing

Similar to Dos GEMKRIGE

New in Windows version

Built in Batch mode runs

Display in 2D or 3D
Interactive trace blocks
Direct viewing of results
Removal of number of sample limits
Much improved use of Selection for target blocks
Direct access to Cross validation
Other minor enhancements

Data preparation
Must have :

Extraction data files (load in view in G4W)

Variography results
Rock type model
Pre-initialized block model(s)
Grade
Special models
Percentage ore models (for IK)

Sample data

Load and
display rock
type model

Use Cell edit to double check rocks

Special
model(s)
(Pre-initialized)

Edit the Kriging profile

Double check output block models

Be sure to use some trace blocks!

If using Cross validation, ensure there is an ASCII

output file

Now ready for an actual run

Select Kriging profile
Select additional trace blocks (if required)
Set up batch mode run (if required)
Select view position
For trace only run, do not refresh screen on each
bench
GO !

For a first run, or for anisotropy, use test

blocks feature

Check the Redraw for new levels tick-box

Check Anisotropy ellipsoids (2D)

Check Anisotropy ellipsoids (3D)

Check Text results also !

Do a full run - then check trace blocks

Note blocks being Kriged

Advanced Topics
High grade search radii
Maximum samples per hole
Up to 8 variogram components per model
Allows sophisticated zonal and geometric anisotropy

MIK options
Single or multiple variograms (indicator type)
Mean or median or high grade bin
Detailed trace blocks - shows process

Interface to GSLIB or other geostats
