is to prepare them for their test and give them feedback on what they need to work extra hard on.

Identification of students:
Students will log-in so their individual scores will be available to you after the session
SRS Activity will be anonymous
Briefly describe what will happen during the SRS Activity: Students will log into their computers and
access a quiz that I have created on Quizlet. They will have 45 minutes to take the quiz three separate
times. They will only solve the answers for the first quiz mentally, the second time they will have a
pencil and paper to solve the questions, and the third time they will be provided with a calculator to
take the quiz. This quiz will cover addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole
numbers.

Immediate Corrective Feedback:
Will you pre-select correct answers to some or all of the questions and display the correct response to
the class after the SRS activity?
Yes
No
Why or why not? Yes so students will be able to see the correct answer, and attempt to understand
why their answer is incorrect or correct.
Use of Data: Data that will be collected as a result of this activity will be their answers to the quiz
(correct or incorrect). The information will be used by each individual student and myself to help
understand why the student did not get the answer correct. Students answers or grades will not be
shared with the class by name but rather by what some students missed or got correctly, but if
requested parents may view their childs grade/progress. I will use the data to ensure that I cover
specific material that more than 4 students missed as a class.
Describe what will occur after the SRS activity: After this activity I will gather the results and go over
as a class what questions were missed, as well as ask if any students need any material to be
reviewed again.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity.
I am attempting to give students an individual opportunity to show me what they have learned. I
hope that by letting students take this quiz on their own they will not be pressured or feel insecure
about missing a question, and allow them to have the opportunity to come to me with questions
without having to ask aloud in class.
