Student Teachers Comments:

My teaching practicum at Timberlea School was phenomenal! The resources which are readily available are
every student teachers dream. The teachers in the school are no exception to this. I was truly blessed with
an extraordinary teacher; this exposure to teaching will definitely help me in the future be the best I can
possibly be in the teaching profession. Ms. Skinner was flexible, approachable and gentle when giving
feedback. One highlight was when I got the opportunity to go to parent teacher interviews where I observed
Ms. Skinner conversing firsthand with parents. She was professional, committed and giving by offering
parents extra worksheets to help the students. This was such an amazing experience that will assist me in
the future and has provided me with many examples of what I plan to do in my future parent teacher
interviews. Ms. Skinner has given me such a positive experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with
her. I have learned so much in my practicum and am incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience.
Thank-you for everything Ms. Skinner!
