Introduce students to numerals 0-20 by showing them this fun
interactive counting game.

Procedure:

Day 1: Students will be shown the Counting with Allie and George
game until we reach 10, After the counting game half of the class will
go to the computers to play curious george train game, they will play
until they reach 10 and the other half will work on the ladybug
worksheets for about 30 minutes and then they will switch, once
everyone has completed the worksheets we will go over them as a
class. After we've gone over the worksheets each student will be
given the missing numbers worksheet to complete numbers 0-10 at
their desk by themselves and handed in to be checked. With the
remaining time of the lesson we will ask the students one by one to
come up to the whiteboard to write a number and spell the number
so we can determine which students need more practice and which
students are mastering the concept.
Day 2: Students will start by watching the rest of counting with Allie
and George, numbers 11-20. After we've gone through 11-20 half of
the class will go back to the computers to play the counting fish
game or the curious george game, and the other half of the class will
work on handwriting 11-20 worksheets. They will switch after about
20-30 minutes until everyone is finished with the worksheet and we
will review them as a class. The students will then be given the
missing numbers worksheet for numbers 11-20 to complete at their

desks and handed in for review. Again with the remaining time of the
lesson we will call the students up individually to write a number and
spell the number so we can determine which students need more
practice.
