Description of artifact and how the artifact meets the standard:
Once a month the preschool teachers meet with the AEA staff (School Social Worker, Early
Childhood Special Education Consultant, and Speech Pathologist) to talk about how our students
are learning and progressing. We discuss if our students are making improvements and if they are
how we can challenge them further, or if they are not improving we talk about how we can help them
improve.
Reflection on artifact (what went right, what went wrong, how to make better):
This is time spent collaborating about our students and problem solving together. In these meeting
we talk about the IEP students and how they are progressing. I have found these meeting
especially helpful when it comes to behavior. It is nice for everyone to get together at the same time
and come up with a plan.
