Description of artifact and how the artifact meets the standard:
I chose to use a graph that visually shows the progress that IEP students are making on their goals.
I share these graphs with parents 3 times per year. At each conference and then I send one home
at the end of the school year.

Reflection on artifact (what went right, what went wrong, how to make better):
IEP graphs are a great way to share student progress with parents. Often, IEP students are outside
their colorbands in several areas on their GOLD reports, and sharing these graphs help parents see
the progress that their student is making. It is best to share these graphs at conferences because
then I can talk to the parents about the different factors that have affected their students score. For
example, the graph notes when I mark a phase line for Change of Instructional Materials, and at
conferences I can explain the instructional changes and how it affected their childs progress.
