Massage

Massage is the oldest known healing art,

predating all orthodox medicines and all
other complementary therapies.

The ancient Chinese used it for

promotion and restoration of health as
well as relaxation, focusing on the balance
and movement of Chi within the body.

The Greeks and Romans used it as part of

their everyday lives both medicinally and
for pleasure.
In holistic massage, movements are
performed slowly, with light to medium
pressure, using oils. Although the pressure
is not firm, the result are still great, a
feeling is not firm, the results are still
great, a feeling of relaxation, calm and a
relief from the tensions and stresses of
life. A totally wonderful sensation.

Reflexology

Reflex areas in the feet correspond to

other areas of the body and various
organs; so that imbalances in the body can
be detected in the corresponding area of
the foot. Working on these reflexes can
help to disperse these imbalances thereby
helping to heal the person as a whole.
Reflexology helps us to cope on a
physical, mental and emotional level.

About Reflections...

Reflections was founded

by Anita in 1999, after
being introduced to holistic
treatments by a friend giving
Reiki.

She attained her Reiki practitioner degree

and then began what has become an
ongoing passion for holistic therapies.
Reflexology and various forms of massage
followed. She is also a qualified baby
massage instructor and runs regular
classes.

JAPANESE TSUBOKI MASSAGE

Experience this wonderful new trilogy of
Japanese treatments. Based on the principles of
Oriental therapy, Tsuboki involves massaging
specific areas of the bodyto give a gentle, delicate
treatment, which influences the health of the
whole body.The treatments work on the
meridians, reflexes and acupressure points of the
face,hands and feet, to calm, relax and detoxify.

TSUBOKI FOOT MASSAGE

A wonderfully relaxing treatment,beginning with a
deep massage of the whole foot, followed by a gentle
massage with a ridoki roller. Finally the meridians on
each foot are treated, finishing with the symbolic
path of Buddha`s footprint, closing with the Wheel
of Life.

TSUBOKI HAND MASSAGE

Hands,which are so accessible,and yet gentle,

intimate and comforting, are the focus of this
treatment.Again, the session begins with a
massage, of the hands, followed by a treatment
of the meridians,reflexes and acupressure points.
Finally a closing with a gentle touch on the Palace
of Weariness on the palms to produce a feeling
of total calm and relaxation.

TSUBOKI FACE MASSAGE

This beautiful treatment works on several levels,

acting on the physical face,and reaching the whole
body and the emotions. It is a deeply relaxing
experience, based on the Easternconcept of
beauty,which believes that outer beauty signifies
health from inside,so that good health makes the
face glowing and beautiful.This facial treatment,
