Description of artifact and how the artifact meets the standard:
I went to the Crisis Prevention and Intervention training class taught by the AEA. The class was
about how to prevent crisis situations and if a crisis situation does occur, how do deal with and
handle a child that is elevated.
A.- Taking this class shows that I am continuing to learn about how to improve my teaching habits
and learn new skills that will help me in handling classroom situations.
B.- I took this class with 3 other co-workers and I was able to work collaboratively with them at the
training. We got to practice different classroom situations in a hands on invironment.
Reflection on artifact (what went right, what went wrong, how to make better):
Attending CPI training was beneficial to me because I learned new ways of handing challenging
situations. I learned how to restrain a student that is harmful to those around him and it was really
good that I was able to attend the training with coworkers. Some of the restraints required two
people and I am glad that I was able to practice them with the person that I would actually be
performing the restrain with.
