Behavioral Goal: Increase the number of days fraternity members eat breakfast.

Learner Objectives:
a. After completing the worksheet the audience will be able to identify breakfast items
that they could grab and go or prepare within 10 minutes.
b. After identifying quick breakfast items, clients will be able to combine items to make a
sufficient breakfast in 10 minutes.

Pre-assessment Questions: We have been talking about rearranging your schedules to allow for
the consumption of breakfast in the mornings. How many of you
think you can make and eat a sufficient breakfast before scheduled
activities?

g. Have them get into groups of three: Now I would like everyone to get into groups of
threes.
h. Pass out handout two.

Explain handout to audience: This is the quick fire challenge. In 5 minutes, using any of
the items you listed above, I would like you to prepare four recipes. You must use at
least three of the categories of food items in each recipe. Each group will then share the
recipes that they came up with. This will give you an opportunity to hear the ideas of
your peers.

k. Conclusion: I hope you take from this that there is always time to make/ eat breakfast.
It does not have to be a 25-30 minute prepared meal. You can prepare a meal in ten
minutes or less. Use fruits, frozen waffles, or whatever it is that you want; you can
always use items that are easily prepared or ones that you can grab and go to create a
sufficient meal. Thank you

c. Did each student use at least three categories of nutrients to make the recipes?
