DESIGN BRIEF

INTRODUCTION
In definition, restaurant is a commercial place that provide a food and beverages service in desire to satisfy the
guest. Restaurants play a significant role in our lifestyle where dining out is a favorite social activity nowadays.
People are attracted to a restaurant by more than just a good food but a successful restaurants offer a perfect dining
experience where it is a place where to see and be seen. However, creating a restaurant are not as simple as
choosing a location and provide a lists of menu. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself made up everything that

different.Project. You are required to design an Ethnic Theme Restaurant located in the tourists
attraction site in Lumut, Perak. Basically, the theme of the Theme Restaurant is present in every aspect of the
restaurant. The theme elements should take into considerations including the interior environment, foods, furniture
and the identity should portrayed the restaurants . To get a better understanding on this project, you need to gather
lots of data collection regarding to the definitions of theme restaurant. You need to choose one ethnic groups in
ASIA as your
theme.

At the end of this project, student should be able to demonstrate the knowledge of cultural and theme concept and
its ethnic significant application to the interior design impact.
