Objective:
You will be able to perform the operation of adding on polynomials successfully.

Format:
A multi-media presentation
Topic:
You will create a 8-10 slide multi-media presentation to teach a class how to add
polynomials.
Directions:
1. Visit Adding Polynomials or any other website you find helpful along with class
notes to fill out the graphic organizer for your multi-media presentation.
2. Make sure that you find a video, animation, pictures, music, and any other media
you find appropriate to include in your presentation.

3. You will include voice-over in your presentation, so be sure to write a script for
various slides in your presentation.
4. Practice reading your script aloud until you feel you are ready to record a voiceover that will play during your presentation.
5. Create a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, Prezi, Google doc presentation, or
any other presentation that includes various media.
6. Email the link to this presentation or the presentation itself to the instructor.

Assessment:

You will receive up to 80 points for the multi-media presentation and 20 points for the in

be subtracted.
3. Create a board that is fun, imaginative, and original.
4. Use color, animation, pictures, stickers, and anything else appropriate.
5. Create an instruction card for your game explaining how to play your game and
explain any rules here.
6. Bring your game board to class to play with classmates.

Topic:
You will write a song that describes the steps you must take when multiplying
polynomials.
Directions:
1. Visit Multiplying Polynomials or any other website you find helpful along with
class notes to use when writing your song.
2. Pick a common melody from a nursery rhyme and write lyrics for it.
3. Make sure that you explain how to multiply polynomials in a series of steps easy
to incorporate in a song.
4. Type the lyrics to your song so they are easy to read when you record it.
5. Practice singing your song aloud until you feel you are ready to sing it.
6. Record your song and play it back making sure it is easy to understand, loud
enough, and between 2-4 minutes
7. Upload your song to the school website and email it to your instructor.

Assessment:
Prepare a 2-4 minute song to a nursery rhyme that explains how to multiply polynomials
in a series of steps.
You will receive up to 80 points on the lyrics of the song, 10 for adapting it to the nursery
rhyme successfully, and 10 for the overall effectiveness of the song.
