I have went online and searched for many websites that are free and can be
used for making videos. I have gathered a range of them and below are the
websites to them, as well as a screenshot of the home page of each.

This is a website online which can create videos. I believe it to be a good

website, but it is not something worth wild. I like the idea of having different
themed videos which you can choose from. I also like the range of the
themes that have been included. For example, there are kiddy-like styles and
themes all the way to adult, sophisticated themes. However, an example of
something that I do not like is how it is like a slideshow and not so much so
like a video. This is one thing I must see what I can do. The program can do
mostly what I want it to do. However, I am still trying to find a way in which it
can be more video-like and not too much like a slideshow. Since, this
program is a website I can access it online. However, I do need to pay money
for a monthly use, but what I am going to do is use the free-trial. The
program has been shown as relatively easy to use. It will take some time to
figure out what and how to work the program, but I do believe it could be a

bit easier to use. I do not want to pay any money, and so instead of paying
$9.99, $19.99, or even $29.99, I have decided on using the free-trial. This
was one of the websites I found online, below is another video-making

This website is called powtoon and it can create videos online as well.
However, the videos that can be made here are more like transitional and
slide to slide based. It is similar to the exemplar shown in class for peter`s
video. Again, the program can do what I want to some extent it has mostly
the basics. A couple features that are not included are adding video clips as
part of the video and there is a limit on images based on your chosen theme.
Since it is a website I can access it online, but I need to create an account,
which I have done. This program is very easy to use. My sister has also had
experience using this website that is why I believe it to be a good source for
creating videos, even though some features are missing. There is no cost to
this program.
ArcSoftShowBiz
This is an app that can create videos. The program can do what I want it to
do. Unlike the previous programs this can add additional video clips into my
own. Also, in here there is a themes category in which many sophisticated
styles are included, matching my criterion. I do have this app on my
computer. It is possible to get this app on your computer as it is absolutely
free. It is very easy to use as I have tried it and fiddled around with it as well.
It is similar to I-movie making it I-movie for windows.

This program is also a video-making app. It can do most of what I want it to
do. However, it does not have a sophisticated styles or designs, themes. I do
have this program on my computer as it is an app. It can add new video
clips, and pictures. It is an easy to use app, but I feel it is lacking in some
features. The program is free.

Based on the information that I have gathered, I have come to the following
conclusion. I have decided that I will be creating a video that is 5-10 minutes
long, based on my feedback. I believe the given length of the video to be
suitable as I believe any longer and the viewers will surely fall asleep. I
believe the duration of the video chosen to be appropriate as I believe any
shorter I will not be able to fit all my information. I believe that the range
that I have chosen for the duration of my product is sufficient, as any shorter
my information would not fit. Any longer and the viewers will surely fall
asleep. No, there is not a specific set time, I will set the time later on as I still
need to see what exact quotes and exact statistics need to be fit in to the
presentation. I believe the range in duration of the product to be that of an
efficient amount.

choices regarding color:
a) The general theme of the video will be in a cool color scheme.
b) All colors listed should be included in the video except for pink, green,
red, and dark orange shades.
c) There should be a mixture of text and background. So, I believe there
should be a dark text color over a light background.

necessary.

With all the feedback that I have received from my mother I have come to a
conclusion regarding some key aesthetic decisions about my video. I will be
using most of my mother`s opinion, as she is closest to my target market
age group, and I must focus on pleasing my target. I have went to my
mother on advice for aesthetics as she fits into the target market and she
also took interior design. I believe that her expertise may help me make a
more appealing video for my target market.

Poverty- the state of being poor, and unable to support yourself.

Dubai voted to have the largest slums and poorest workers as a
developed country.
Workers were offered 400AED a day but receive 20AED a month.
In the year 2008 nearly 49% of workers and employees were below the
poverty line, based on income.
Immigrant workers were offered fair working hours, work 4hrs a day,
and 7 days a week.
Workers were offered a house but barely get a room.
Offered a bed, but reality is that they don`t get even that.
Were supposedly offered single accommodations, but share with 10
other workers.
2020 vision of Dubai is to have 22% of people under the poverty line
unlike recent years.
Even though there are poverty centers devoted to those in need
specifically in Dubai, there is still a 49% of people living below the
poverty line.

Every day 22,000 children die to due horrible water conditions and lack
of food, poverty.
While nearly 30% of people live in top conditions, with 5-star meals
and fancy hotels, and luxurious rooms, what about the less fortunate.
A study conducted in 2003, shows that there is enough food on the
planet to feed everyone, but somehow the food is not being sent to
those who are dying on the street due to hunger and lack of water.
According to new statistics from the Bergen Project, if everyone, from
the upper-class gives around $100-200 every year to the poor, and
those who are facing poverty, poverty itself-could be decreased by
over 55% by the year 2030.

It has been stated that as of 2013, more than 3 billion people
worldwide live off of less than $2.50 a day.
Although according to Daniel Trotta a study completed in 2001-2011,
shows that poverty has risen from 15.6% to 21.4% in the U.S. only.
As of 2014, there has been a 2.966% increase of poverty in the United
States, thus symbolizing how POVERTY indeed is a rising issue.
Joseph Kayuki gets paid only 735 dirhams a month, he is below the
Dubai poverty line. Though he has business background he doesnt
have enough money to go back home.
Workers in Dubai have their passport taken.
Immigrant workers work more than 12 hours a day, but make nearly 4
dirhams a day.
Although the company claims to take care of our accommodation and
meals, we virtually eat and sleep like goats, Said by a poor person in
Dubai.
In Asia, 2005 poverty count was 1.6m, as of 2010 it was 1.8m.
The UAE`s count of this was a 4.95% increase, after the economic
crash in 2008.
80% of humans live off of $10 a day, in Dubai the percentage was 29%
in the year 2013.
99% of UAE`s work force are foreigners, and more than a quarter of
them are below the poverty line.
"The latrines are so filthy we cannot use them, we are so disgusted.
The roads are full of garbage and waterlogged. Living and moving
about here is a great problem. We suffer greatly," said by a worker in
Dubai.
BBC says that in Dubai, the labor camps are overcrowded with 7,500
laborers sharing 1,248 rooms with poor ventilation.

Analysis:
Below are videos that I have analyzed, in order to see what I should and
should not include in my video.

This video is a student made film, which has good features, but it can have
improvements as well. A couple of elements in this video that I would like to
incorporate into my video are How there is background music throughout
the video, as well as how there is acting. I like the usage of the background
music, as the song helps get the message across to the audience. I also like
how there was acting, this gives a real life tone to it. What I do not like about
the video that there are no words. This does not really help the audience
despite the music. I believe in order to improve this design there needs to be
at least some form of speech, in order for the audience to get a clear
message. I also believe that this video could have been improved. I believe
that the author could have added more effects to grasp the attention of the
audience. I think that there should have been effects, as an introduction to
give a clear beginning, same applies for the ending.

This is another example that I have found online, it is an animation. There
are some features of this video that I would like to incorporate into my video.
I believe the strengths of the video to be the introduction, the credits. As for
the weaknesses, I believe it to be the duration of the video, as well as the
imagination. I like the idea of having an introduction, as it highlights what will
be included in the video, and it also gives the video a theme. I will try to
incorporate the powerful introduction into my video, as first views are quite
crucial, a sit sets the tone for the whole presentation. That is why I would like

to have a powerful intro. I would like to include the idea of a credits page in
my video. As, I believe that I should give credit to anyone who is in the video.
I believe that the duration of the video is quite long. I would suggest that the
video be that of 2-5 minutes. Initially I had seen this as an advertisement, on
YouTube, before a video. I also believe that the imagination is a bit too
violent. I believe that this product is not suitable for the target market it has
been aimed at. I feel that it is very much inappropriate, I have found out that
this product`s target market has been set for 5-10 year olds. I believe that
little kids should not be exposed too such videos. That is why since poverty is
a very depressing topic, I have aimed my presentation to those who can
handle this topic in a more mature manner. Overall, I would like to
incorporate the powerful introduction and credits page into my video.

I am quite intrigued with this video, as I like their usage of effects, and how
they were able to keep it sophisticated by using a news report sort of theme.
I will try to incorporate this into my design. I would like to include the live
version of a news report in my video as well. I would also like to add the text
at the bottom, a sit gives a more organized theme. I had liked the idea of the
dubbing, and I will try to use this in my video during pictures. However, I did
not like how during the speeches given, there was some stuttering or
mumbling. I feel like the script for each person should have been practiced
more, student parts only. There was also some background music, more than
one song. I thought the idea of having music was good, but using too many
types was not effective, and this would be a way to improve. I also believe
that when there was more than one person speaking, it did not sound well
and I believe in order to show improvement there should be specific turns.
Overall, it was a good video, though a bit long, I can definitely take away
ideas from this video to help me in making my own video.
