Once upon a time , in a

forest lived a woodcutter and

his two children named Hensel
and Gretel . Hensel and
Gretel had a stepmother. She
is very evil.

One night , they heard the

parents talking. If we keep
them , we will die of hunger.
said the stepmother. They are
my kids and they need me. Said
the father. No!!.Hensel and
Gretel was very sad.

The next morning, their

father took them deep into
the forest .Along the way,
Hensel left breadcrumbs.

Their father light up fire for

them and went off . Hensel
and Gretel waited till night
but nobody came.

Follow me ,Gretel .I left

breadcrumbs along the way .
said Hensel. Unfortunately,
the birds ate all the
breadcrumbs and they lost
their way home.

They walk and walk and walk

until they saw a house filled
with Candy .They were so
happy.

Hensel and Gretel were so

hungry that they ate all the
candies and sweets. Suddenly,
a black figure appeared from
the doorstep and asked them
to come in and they did!.

The old witch made Hensel

and Gretel clean the house
everyday. She never give
them enough food. Hensel and
Gretel started to become
tired .

One day , the old witch boiled

hot water to cook Hensel and
Gretel .Ahhhhh!!!!. They were
so scared that they pushed
the old witch into the pot.
They ran away.

My children , you are

back!!. said their father.
Hensel found a pot of gold in
the old witch house and they
lived happily ever after.
