All Breeds must be shown to the standards, rules and regulations of each individual breed society listed
in the program
2 waivers: Mt Wallace Equestrian Centre and SWAG must be completed and signed by every person on the grounds,
competing or not, SWAG to be sent in with entries , Mt Wallace to be handed to lady at the gate on arrival.
SWAG Waiver will also be available on the day

Show Regulations:
1. The APSB registered breeds classes will be run in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Australian Pony Stud
Book Society Inc. (APSB)
2. All owners of entries competing in the APSB sections must be current financial members of the APSB
3. No person shall be allowed to enter or having entered, shall be allowed to remain on any part of the ground whom
shall or may offend against decency, either as regards to dress, language or conduct
4. The Committee reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone that is suspected of being under the
influence of Drugs or Alcohol
5. All Shetland foals competing must be measured before entering the ring. Foals may be shifted into
another class other than that entered, if found to be in the incorrect height class on the day of the show.
Confirmation will be required by the steward prior to the commencement of classes. The measurer on the
day of the Show is appointed as an Official AMPS Measurer
6. Champion Shetland foals are eligible to compete for Best Shetland Foal (in appropriate height class), to be run at the
conclusion of classes in Rings One & Two. Winners of these height events will be eligible for Supreme Shetland Pony Foal
7. Exhibits competing in the APSB registered breed classes must be properly registered or foal recorded with the APSB
prior to the day of show
8. Exhibits competing in the classes set down for Other Registered Breeds must be properly registered or foal recorded
within those breed sections listed and must abide by the rules and regulations of their society
9. Entries close Friday 24th April, 2015. You must include Registration Numbers for each pony entered, your
full name, and your APSB Registration papers & Membership Number if entering APSB classes. Incomplete
forms will not be processed.
10. Entry Fees: $6.00 per class, a $5.00 venue fee per foal/equine must also be paid, via deposit into our
bank account: Account Name: South Western Activities Group; BSB: 633-000; Acc #: 150328185 or cheque
made payable to South Western Activities Group
11. All competitors compete at their own risk
12. Non-APSB members must sign the insurance indemnity form provided
13. Judges decision will be final
14. No Refunds on entries under any circumstances
15. Absolutely No Dogs allowed on the grounds (rules of venue)
16. Foals must compete in the ring on their own. No Mares or other companions may enter the ring.
17. Foals to be shown according to their breed standard
18. Foals to be deemed at risk to other exhibits or exhibitors will be asked to leave the arena and no refund on entries
will be given
19. No horse feed or water will enter the arena. Competitors who fail to abide by these rules will be asked the leave the
ring.
20. All competitors must wear suitable foot wear. No open toe shoes allowed.
21. Winners of Supreme ribbons at the APSB SWAG Foal Show are eligible to compete at the Victorian Committee Foal /
Youngstock Show (if being held) for Supreme Foal of the Show. Refer to the Victorian Committee organisers for further
information.
22. An official photographer will be present on the day of the show and no other professional/non-professional will offer
their services to competitors
23. NO SMOKING IN VENUE OR AROUND ENTRANCE TO VENUE
24. In the event of a dispute an amount of $50 (refundable if dispute proven) and a written complaint must be
received by the Committee before the end of the day. The Executive Committee will then make a determination. No
verbal complaints will be received or dealt with.

EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN RIGHTS TO SUE
The purpose of this agreement is to limit the liability of the Provider to exclude liability for any personal injury or death to
the Participant and other people in the care and control of the Participant howsoever caused who signed this form as
acknowledgment of the terms and conditions of this agreement. By signing this form you are waiving your rights to sue the
Provider for losses relating to personal injury or death. Under the provisions of the Trade Practices Act and Various State
Laws conditions are implied into contracts that mean that the Provider of Recreational Services, noted below, is required
to ensure that the Recreational Services it sells to you are: rendered with due care and skill, are fit for the purpose for
which they are commonly bought as it is reasonable to expect in the circumstances or might reasonably be expected to
achieve the result you have made known to the Provider.

The Participant acknowledges that the activity being undertaken is an activity being undertaken for the purposes of
recreation, enjoyment or leisure which involves a significant degree of physical risk. The Provider acknowledges that they
are providing Recreational Services detailed below which means; providing facilities for participation in a recreational
activity, or training a person to participate in a recreational activity, or supervising, adjudicating, guiding or otherwise
assisting a persons participation in a recreational activity.
The Participant hereby acknowledges that in attending the recreational activity that there are inherent risks involved to him
or her or other people in their care and control. This agreement is directed and limited to inherent risks that are patent.
The participants also acknowledges that the purpose of the recreational activity is for the benefit of the Participant and for
the benefit of those people attending with the Participant and that at all times the Participant is responsible for his or her
own actions and the actions of those other people in his or her care and control.
Description of Recreational Services Steps taken by Provider to avoid the danger of personal injury or death
The Participant acknowledges that during all times while he or she is attending the recreational activity he or she does so
at his or her own risk and that the Participant and other people in the care and control of the Participant will not hold the
Provider or any of its employees or agents liable for any personal injury or breach of contract whether caused by the
negligence of the Provider its employees or agents howsoever caused or otherwise. The Participant acknowledges that in
the event that he or she or any of the other people in their care and control find either or any of them is in difficulty that
they are to stop the activity or request that the activity be stopped if appropriate, and seeks help and/or assistance and
advice.
Declaration and signature
By signing this agreement I understand that the Recreational Services about to be sold to me as set out in this form may
cause my and or my dependents personal injury or death. By signing this agreement I understand that I and my
dependents waive our rights to sue the Provider for losses relating to my and or my dependents personal injury or death
that result from any negligence caused by the Provider.
