HDvM Account Creation

Its recommended to create an account with View permission. This permission

allows the user to view
information about resources. It does not allow the user to change or update any
information.
1. Login to HCS using system account.
2. Go to Administration tab, click Users and Permissions.
3. Click Add User and specify the appropriate user profile information.
User name: hds
Password : hds123
4. Click OK.
5. Confirm that the new user account is listed in the Users and Permissions list.
6. After you create a user account, select the target user, click Change Permission,
and set the
View permission for the user.
7. Verify that the correct permissions for the user are checked in Granted
Permission.
8. Subsequently, we need to allocate new user to a resource group.
a. On the Administration tab, select Resource Groups.
b. Select the target user. In this case select user hds.
c. Click Assign Resource Groups.
d. Click OK.
e. Confirm that the user has been assigned to All Resources.
9. Log out from HCS once done.
