Start of the Lesson


- Students are notified of their teams they will be
playing in for the rest of the tournament / round
robin
Lesson Content
- Warm Up: students run from service line to mid
line doing various locomotor skills = running,
hopping, skipping. Once they have completed 1
locomotor skills they complete 5 sit ups, then after
the next locomotor skills is 5 push ups
- Activity 1: spiking and blocking
- Activity 2: 3 hits of dig set and spike (already
learnt)
- End Game: students play against each other in a
modified game of volleyball. If students leave the
volleyball without attempting to attack the ball or
calling is not made the whole team completed 5 situps
Lesson Closure
- Remind students of tournament begins in 3
lessons time
- Re-cap on skills being taught throughout the
previous lessons, as well as the key teaching points
- Ask students what they learnt
- Tell students of what they need to bring for next

website (5-10
minutes). And give
them time to ask
questions about
their role, or
website.
- Students grab an
Ipad if necessary for
their role
- Secondly, the
students get to
choose 1 ICT tool for
each role they are
allowed to play
around with the
applications or
websites to see
which one they like
the most to be used
for their role. =

allowed 20-30
minutes (depending
on how long the rest
of the lesson took)
for the whole team
to explore their ICT
tools for them to

use either in game
