Rabbit and Turtle

There once was a rabbit and a turtle. The rabbit was appropriately named
Speedy, and the turtles name was Frozen. Speedy exclaimed, Hey guys!
Look how fast I am! Frozen did not like Speedys taunting, and walked slowly
towards the bragging rabbit. Frpozen said, I want to challenge you to a
race. No, replied Speedy, you are too slow. Frozen smiled and asked,
Are you afraid of losing the race Speedy? Hold up, said Speedy, I will
accept your challenge, and I will show you how fast I really am. After much
arguing, they both agreed that they will race to the big, old maple tree by
the street. 3....2....1! yelled Frozen. Speedy took off flying, but poor Frozen
barely crossed the line.
I am so ahead that I think I will take a nap under this tree, and still have
enough time to beat Frozen, said Speedy. When Speedy woke up, it was
darker. He noticed the darker sky and asked himself, How long have I been
sleeping? He looked both ways, but did not see Frozen. So, Speedy quickly
stood up and started running towards the hill, where the tree was located.
When he reached the top of the hill, he saw Frozen. It was too late, he had
already passed the line and finished the race. Speedy said to himself, I

should not have taken a nap, and sadly walked towards the tree. When he
arrived, Frozen said, Sometimes being the best does not mean you will
always win. Then, Speedy and Frozen became close friends.
