I watched a programme with lots of different ideas to slow down
global warming.
These ideas were:

Raised up high so it catches the faster currents of wind

Disk that follows the sun and receives solar energy
Pivots so it can always find the sun

I think that these ideas and more like it will lead to a brighter
future being more ecofriendly.
Many things leave behind a carbon footprint. A carbon footprint
isn't a real footprint but what you leave behind as you use things
that leave carbon.
