PRODUCT DESCRIPTION - EAGLEXTRA SA

EagleXtra SA membranes are made from high quality, self-adhered elasto-plastomeric compounds. The outer surface consists
of aplastomeric compound while the inner surface and the selvedge side consist of a SBS pressure-sensitive adhesive compound.
EagleXtra SA membranes are manufactured with non-woven polyester fiber fabric, stabilized with glass and rot-proof, to give
the membranes excellent dimensional stability. This ensures high performance with no waterproof surface shrinkage, even in
the case of roofing subjected to high thermal stresses. EagleXtra SA meets stringent standards for tensile strength, elongation
at break and tear strength.
EagleXtra SA Granular is finished with granules on the top surface and PE film + removable silicon selvedge.

APPLICATIONS INSTRUCTIONS
EagleXtra SA can be applied when the environmental temperature is at least 40F and with a reasonable air humidity. The
eventual humidity entrapped between membrane and substrate could lead to a formation of bubbles.
Substrates must be dry, free of pollutants and loose matter. Concrete decks should be properly primed prior to the application of
the membrane. Begin at the lowest point of the roof. Unroll the material and allow it to relax. Begin by removing the first 18-24
of release film. Press the membrane into place with firm and even pressure. Roll the edges with a silicone hand roller to ensure
complete adhesion. Step-by-step remove the remaining release film applying pressure from the center to the edges as you go.
Place consecutive rolls with a minimum of 6 end lap and 4 side lap; to improve the end lap joint, remove the granulates on the
6 long overlap. Laps can be sealed for additional water tightness with a hot air welder. When the installation of the entire roof
surface is finished, roll with an 80# split-face linoleum roller. Be careful on sloped roofs by securing the roller and applicator
with the right safety equipment. Check project details for proper installation requirements.

STORAGE & WARNING

Store the pallets in a dry warehouse, away from sunlight. Do not stack the pallets.
The pallets must be brought in the building site at the application moment; once arrived, cut the plastic cover on the sides
(vertically) to allowfresh air to flow inside the pallet
The rolls must be protected by the sunin a fresh and dry room, stored vertically and lifted from the ground level.
