INLINE INSTALLATION / DEPLOYMENT

Outline:
This document outlines the current procedure to follow in regards to deploying the INTECSEA Inline
Tectools software on a users machine.

Summary instructions:
The installation of Inline is a two-step procedure. The first installation of Inline on any machine needs
to be from an Admin account Preferably an IT account. During that phase, Inline will install any prerequisites required for the software. Once that is completed, any users wanting to run Inline from that
machine needs to run the setup file at least once from their profile to initialize the Inline office
component on their profile The user profile initialization doesnt require admin rights and any user can
do it pending step one was completed.

Step By Step Instructions: (Step 1 of 2)


1. From An Admin account (preferably IT) run the Setup.exe file
2. The following window should appear Select Accept

3. Select Install on the last Wizard.

Once completed, you should see the below window.

4. Select Close
5. Copy the Inline excel spreadsheet to the desktop and open. If successful you should see the
following with no any other error messages

Running from users profile First Time: (Step 2 of 2)


This section assumes that Inline has already been installed once on the machine from an account with
admin rights as per the Step by Step Instructions listed above.
1. From the users profile, run the Setup.exe file
2. Select Install Close

3. Copy the Inline excel spreadsheet to the desktop and open.


NOTE TO ALL USERS:
To run the Inline Spreadsheet from the Network please refer to section 3 of the INLINE
Manual (229404-SU-MAN-0001).

Troubleshooting:
Listed below are a few error messages/ cases that may occur if steps 1 and 2 are not followed or general
known issues.

CASE 1
If you get the following message when opening the Inline spreadsheet

Reason/Solution: Step 2 of 2 was not followed. The Initialisation process did not happen on the
users profile. To fix, run Step 2 Running from the users profile First Time: (Step 2 of 2).

CASE 2:
Running the Inline spreadsheet from a network location may generate the following error message

Reason/Solution: Please refer to section 3 of the INLINE Manual (229404-SU-MAN-0001).
