particular letters were upper case.

The teacher will ask the students some questions
during the lesson.
The students will spend 10 minutes at each rotation.
Each station will focus on the letters MRHEDC. There
will be five rotations:
Station 1: Using the ipads (refer to the side),
students will practise writing capital letters.
There will be 5 ipads set up at this table to
allow each student to have their own.
Station 2: Using the book, students will find
capital letters throughout the pages and
practise writing them on their individual
whiteboards.
Station 3: Using play dough, students will
practice creating capital letters. There will be
plastic capital letters on the table for students
to refer to.
Station 4: There will be lego blocks, pencils
and paper set up with laminated upper case
letters scattered around the desk. Students can
use the lego to create the letters and then draw
the letters on the paper.
Station 5: Free play station. Paper and
colouring pencils with stencils will be set up
for student play with.
Conclusion
The teacher will ask students what they
learned about capital letters.
Using the Interactive Whiteboard, the teacher
will place the letters M/R/H/E/D/C on the
board and ask students to think of some
objects that start with these letters.
