As a professor in the School of Arts, attached to the Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad
Nacional de Colombia, Medelln, Colombia, I would like to recommend Vanessa Dina Gonzlez
Patio, a graduate of our program, who is interested in being an intern in your Costume Department
and/or Set Design Department in your institution.
As one of Vanessas professors, I would like to highlight her outstanding skills in executing the art
projects that she set out to carry out during her studies. These qualities were demonstrated by her
refined artistic and conceptual skills, established through her thorough research and the results that
she achieved.
Likewise, throughout her undergraduate studies, Vanessa was able to integrate the relationship
between the fine arts and fashion design in quite an interesting way, validating the interdisciplinary
nature of contemporary art, and applying these connections to courses that explored the
relationship between the fine arts and the space of the stage. Thanks to this experience, she
developed her teamwork skills, which allows her to responsibly and holistically carry out this type of
work. Finally, Vanessa has continued to develop her professional work as an artist from this
interdisciplinary vantage point, through the creation of a costume design concept that displays a
high aesthetic and artistic quality.
