EC-Council has organized Code-Uncode event at School of Engineering, RK University on 8th August 2014
EC-Council (International Council of E-Commerce Consultants) is worlds largest certification body
for Information Security professionals. EC-Council is a member-based organization that certifies
individuals in various information security and e-business skills.
After the success of Code Uncode 2013, EC-Council is back with Code Uncode 2014 - India's First Ever
Secure Programming Competition to generate awareness about the secure aspect of programming and to
recognize talent in secure programming.
Around 11,000 participants from across the country, students from India's top engineering institutions and
professionals from Fortune 500 companies participated in Code Uncode 2013. The alarming issue which
came to the fore in Code Uncode 2013 was that only 0.97% of the participants actually had an
understanding of a critical aspect like Information Security.
More than 250 students had attempted the Exam. The exam was free of cost for the RK University
students which has actually cost of $99.

Participants:
5th sem and 7th Sem CE/IT Students.
