Introduction
The students will be given a list
of countries to choose from
(approx. fifty) and will be told to
choose one. When they have
chosen one, I will write it down.
Every student must do a
different country. I will explain
that instead of writing a paper
on their certain country,
students will instead make a
website about their country.
This project is due at the end of
the semester. I will explain
what a weebly is and how it
works. I will also have a
premade weebly on the country
of Argentina to show the
students what information I am
looking for. This weebly will be
available for them to reference
at any time. Next I will help

Monitor/Feedback
No country can be chosen twice.

Countries must be chosen that

day and cannot be changed.

By students answering questions,

I will get a general understanding
of their knowledge of weebly.

2nd Day

During
the
Semester

everyone set up a weebly

account and go over what
weebly has to offer and what all
of its tools are. It is very
important to discuss that no one
weeblys will look the same
because no two countries are
the same. Everyone will have
different information and
graphics on their page. At the
end of the discussion on weebly,
there will be questions on what
tools do certain tasks, making
sure that each student receives
a question.
More Framing the Lesson
During the second day, students
will be given a checklist of
information that must be on
their website, but it is
encouraged they find more
information. Students will also
be told they can only use certain
websites to find reliable
information. I will have shared
these websites with them on our
share Google Drive. The
students will have a chance to
look through these websites and
determine if they can find
enough information. Websites
can be added throughout the
semester so it is important for
them to be checking the Google
Drive.
Activities
Students will be given one hour
each work on their website.
Possibly more if time allows or
they get done with other
projects early. Each Friday, they
must publish their websites and
share them on Emodo so I am
able to monitor their process
and students can peer review
websites. It is expected for
