My Philosophy of Education
The philosophy of education is the connection of content,
attitudes, and activities. The goal of is not to just train or just education
but the goal of a teacher is to train, educate, and encourage learning.
This is the process of schooling and that is my goal as a teacher to
accomplish. I want the students to experience the training, education,
and learning as one because it is hard to have one with out the other. I
believe that all the classes are important because they all teach
something different. Some teach the normal math, English, and
Science but there are others that teach respect, civility, and creativity.
For me every class has its importance because each class helps shape
that child. But if I had to categorize them I would have English, Math,
Science, and Social Studies as trivium. The quadrivium would be
dance, music, PE, art, and drama. I believe that every student should
participate in the each of the classes to find out if they want and enjoy
that class.
My teacher role in the classroom is to be a model of what I would
like to see in my students. The students will learn with lecture, text,
and mostly hands on learning. Listening to the students voice is very
important to me. When I listen to the students they are able to teach
me and I am able to converse with them to teach them. I want to help
encourage my students to be the best person that they could be. That
means I will find out what they like and help them accomplish what
they want to be. The importance of a student is the combination of
family and the teacher. I want to include the family of the student to
show them that family is an important thing. With the teachers and
families work together the student understands that they want to help.
The students will more then likely want to work hard with their
education.
There will be hands on experience for the students to learn by
trial and error. There will be bulletin boards around the classroom to
show visuals of what the students are learning or have learned. I want
to take my students on field trips to see what we are studying in
action. Being an example for my students is very important. The
students watch the teacher and learn from what the teacher does. I
want to create an atmosphere that every student will be able to learn
in. Students have a different way of learning and I want to be able to
differentiate my method of teaching so that it falls close to their
learning technics. My teaching methods for evaluating the student will
consist of discussions and some tests. I want to be sure that the
student is learning what I have taught them.
Teaching is a learning process that will never stop and a teacher
who is willing to learn is a teacher that will teach well. I believe in
giving the every student the opportunity to learn and better

themselves through learning and problem solving. The students are

very important and their safety is in my hands. I want the students to
experience the training, education, and learning in a safe and
comfortable atmosphere.
