Blob tag is a game where participants lock hands and try to avoid being tagged. The more people you tag, the bigger the blob will grow. Activity should have at least two facilitators depending on the number of participants. To avoid collisions or any other such injuries, game should not be run at a fast pace.

Size: 10+ Age Group: Varies Activity Description: 1. Pick 1-2 volunteers. They must stand in the middle of a circle while locking hands. These volunteers are to lock hands at all times for they are considered THE BLOB! 2. On the outskirts are the free standers who must avoid being touched by the blob. If tagged, you are to go to the end of the blob connected with the blob by holding hands and tagging other free standers. 3. Only the ends of the blob are the taggers 4. The more people you tag, the bigger the blob will grow! You want to be the last person standing by avoiding being tagged by the blob. 5. You cannot run outside of the given boundary. 6. You cannot run under, over or through the blob. Leadership Considerations: Activities like these require interaction along with communication to come up with strategic ways of capturing free standers. Activity should have at least two facilitators depending on the number of participants. For safety reasons, all participants should have on athletic clothes along with closed toed shoes. To accommodate everyones space, activity should be played in a gym or open field. The facilitator must set a boundary for participants if exceeding boundary they are automatically apart of the blob. To avoid collisions or any other such injuries, game should not be ran at a fast pace. Light jog at the most.
