2.

Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation

(PCV) valve tube from the PCV valve.

3.

Disconnect the PCV valve electrical connector.

4.

CAUTION: A new PCV valve must be

installed if removed from the cam cover or
damage can occur to the locking mechanism
on the PCV valve.

Removal and Installation

1.

Rotate the PCV valve counterclockwise to

remove from the valve cover.

Disconnect the battery ground cable. For

additional information, refer to Section 414-01.
